Access and Accessibility
At the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre we are committed to achieving equal access to great theatre for all theatre users.
Wheelchair Access & Mobility Assistance
There are three locations in the Civic Theatre that are held for wheelchair users, those with mobility concerns and their companions. These locations are in the centre block in row A, half way back on the side in rows H & I and at the back of the auditorium near the sound and lighting desk.
Unfortunately we are unable to cater for wheelchair bookings online, so if you require wheelchair access or require other access assistance inform box office staff at the time of making your booking. If you require a wheelchair space, please contact the Booking Office on 02 6926 9688.
The Civic Theatre has a modest gradual incline to row I and then becomes steps. If you use a wheelie walker to get around you will find that an aisle seat in the front half of the auditorium is easy to access. Use your walker to access your seats, then the usher will remove your wheelie walker and return it to you at interval and/or after the show.
Companion Cards are recognised for performances and events hosted by Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre. Cardholders will not be required to pay for the cost of tickets for their carer. Please note that the Card may not be recognised for events staged by other presenting companies, please enquire when booking.
At the time of ticket purchase cardholders may either fax, email or send by mail a copy of their valid cardholder identification. Alternatively, the Card may be presented in person at the Box Office. Cardholders will then be issued with a second complimentary ticket for their essential support companion.
A dedicated hearing loop operates within the Theatre for patrons with hearing impairments. Patrons with hearing difficulties can utilise this function by switching their hearing aid to the T switch. To ensure that your seat is within the hearing loop please advise Box Office staff when booking your ticket.
