In the Moment - Intermediate IMPRO for Teens

Full of skills and endless fun, for any actor or communicator's kitbag, and suitable for stage, work, or social application, this very practical program is designed for participants with fundamental previous experience of improvisation, either through our earlier course "Prepare To Be Unprepared", or as actors with some improv specific experience. "In The Moment" takes students to the next level, ready for performance of both short-form (games and individual scenes), and long-form (fully improvised plays, musicals, experimental pieces).

Learn what makes interpersonal communications tick, and stage improvisation fluid and easy, through exercises, games and scenework. Learn how to create performances that allow improvisers to thrive and connect with audiences. Meet a great set of people, and laugh a lot with them, weekly!

Nick Byrne is Artistic Director of Canberra Impro ACT improv school and theatre company, as well as Australia's International Festival Improvention. He tours the world, teaching, directing, and performing improvised theatre.
