Screenworks On Tour

Calling all budding film-makers. Screenworks is on tour and we want your stories!

Whether it’s documenting the meteoric rise of the Chiko Roll or a dramatic piece on the towns next Paul Kelly, get along to this 2 day workshop. Some of the screen industry’s most respected producers and executives will share advice on developing, producing, financing and pitching drama and documentary content.

The workshop runs over two days - with single day or full tickets available.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided on both days.

DAY ONE

Documentary Masterclass - In this two-hour masterclass, producer Marcus Gillezeau will deliver an informative and entertaining hands-on, how-to on development, story, financing and distributing a feature documentary.

Create NSW - will give a session on the support and resources Create NSW provides for early career filmmakers.

One On One Meetings - In addition to the 2 day Masterclasses, each of the guest speakers will be available for one-on-one meetings - see Screenworks website for details on how to apply.

DAY TWO

Producing Drama Masterclass - Bridget Callow-Wright will draw on her experience as a successful producer of scripted narrative for film and as a Senior Lecturer in Producing at SAE to deliver a practical workshop on how to produce narrative content for film and television

Preparing To Pitch - In this fast-paced, practical 2 hour workshop Screenworks’ Programs & Operations Manager, Lisa O’Meara will explain how to prepare yourself and the key elements that you need to think about before you start pitching your project.

One On One Meetings - In addition to the 2 day Masterclasses, each of the guest speakers will be available for one-on-one meetings - see Screenworks website for details on how to apply.

Networking - A Networking event will be held on Friday evening
