“The best show I’ve seen in my 20 years at this venue’’ – FOH Geelong Arts Centre
One of the biggest concert events and albums in music history becomes one of the biggest tributes as we honour Neil Diamond and the memory of our darling Olivia Newton John.
Such an event requires two very special performers. Michael Zammit is a craftsman musician who plays Diamond as if he were standing on stage that Hot August Night in Los Angeles. He did in fact tour the US in the 90’s with Pseudo Echo and remained. He now fronts his own band the Tequila Brothers and has built a huge following.
No one performs Olivia’s hits like Jenn Allas. Jenn returns to Australia having wowed audiences in Asia and Germany where she recorded. Michael and Jenn know each other’s work comprehensively having performed together many times. Who better to bring the music of Neil Diamond and Olivia Newton John to the stage on this Hottest of Hot August Nights; undoubtedly the ‘Hottest ticket in town’
