With an astonishing 50 stage productions combined, world-class and leading artists, MARINA PRIOR & MICHAEL CORMICK unite for their first full length tour titled ‘CENTRESTAGE’.

Having been friends for decades, first performing together in the production of CATS in 1986, it’s now time they take their remarkable voices and stage craft on tour around the country.  Touring Metro and Regional cities, in a 2-hour show, accompanied by renown pianist Andrew Ross (Barry Humphries, Dame Edna, Moulin Rouge, Miss Saigon), Marina & Michael will perform songs from their hit musicals, gorgeous duets, iconic show tunes plus their own personal and crowd favourites. The onstage chemistry is captivating.

Marina Prior is regarded as Australia’s leading lady of musical theatre. Awarded with a Member of the Order of Australia in 2023, Marina is best known for her roles in Phantom of the Opera, Pirates of Penzances, Cats, Les Miserables, Die Fledermaus, Anything Goes, West Side Story, The Secret Garden, Show Boat, The Merry Widow, The Witches of Eastwick, Annie Get Your Gun, Guys & Dolls, Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music, Hello Dolly, Dream Lover, 9 To 5 The Musical but to name a few and performances with Richard Harris, Jose Carreras and Il Divo. It’s just not Christmas in Australia until Marina takes the stage at the annual Carols By Candlelight at the Melbourne Myer Music Bowl now notching up over 30 performances.  Marina also starred in the ABC television series The Divorce and released 14 albums thus far in her acclaimed career.  Since 2017, Marina along with David Hobson have performed over 200 sell-out shows of their concert The 2 Of Us around the country.

Michael Cormick, is an internationally renowned singer and actor with a diverse career throughout Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe. In Australia, he originated the role of The Beast in the original Australian production of Beauty & The Beast opposite Hugh Jackman. His other stage credits include The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, Grease, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia!, Eureka, La Cage aux Folles, Blood Brothers, The Rocky Horror Show, Annie, Into The Woods, Cabaret, Jesus Christ Superstar and Pirates of Penzances.  In the West End and internationally, Michael has performed in Phantom of the Opera and Lloyd Webber’s The Woman in White, Calamity Jane, Romeo & Juliet, Evita, Time and Chess. Whilst in London, he had the incredible opportunity to sing with Freddie Mercury and Cliff Richard and had the honour of performing for Her Majesty the Queen at the Royal Command performances..  Michael’s TV credits include The Doctor Blake Mysteries, Reef Doctors, Sea Patrol, City Homicide, Prisoner, Superwog, Bluebird AR, The Don Lane Show, The Bert Newtown Show, The Mike Walsh Show, Hey Hey It’s Saturday and The Terry Wogan Show.
