Dane Simpson has spent years travelling the country and the globe watching and performing at all sorts of comedy clubs. One of his favourites is a Gong Show. So, he’s decided to bring it to the Wagga Comedy Fest.

You’re probably asking yourself, what is a ‘Gong Show’? Well….
Have you ever been to open mic comedy and you really wish they’d just get to the point? The Gong Show has answered your prayers.
Here’s how it works: Each local comedian gets 4 minutes to impress the crowd. Each member of the crowd gets a paddle. If you don’t like what you hear, you can place your paddle in the air and that comedian gets gonged off. The last comedian standing wins a very sought-after prize! Gotta risk it for the biscuit.
