One of the largest Swap Meets in Australia, the CHACA Wagga Wagga Swap Meet draws people from all over the country looking for rare finds, great bargains and a good yarn or two.
The Wagga Wagga Annual Swap Meet has been running for over 25 years. With up to 800 site holders from around the region and all over Australia it is a great chance to find some fantastic auto-memorabilia, antiques, bric-a-brac, ornaments, collectables and more.
The weekend also incorporates the CHACA Show & Shine, a fantastic event that highlights some perfectly restored and maintained vehicles.
The Wagga Wagga Annual Swap Meet has been running for over 25 Years. With up to 900 site holders from around the region and all over Australia it is a great chance to find some fantastic auto-memorabilia, antiques, bric-a-brac, ornaments, collectables and more.
Over Twenty-five years ago Wagga Wagga hosted the first swap meet for car enthusiasts ad collectors of all kinds of paraphernalia.
Now the biggest of its type in NSW, the Classic & Historic Automobile Club of Australia - Wagga Wagga Region have grown the event to be the 3rd largest nationally with more than 900 stall holders and up to 8000 people walking through the gates from all over Australia.
Over the past 24 years the Swap has been able to financially support in excess of 70 local charities and community groups, including Disadvantaged Children, Camp Quality, SES, Bush Fire units, Wagga Base Hospital Children’s Ward, Ronald McDonald House, Cancer Patients Group, Cystic Fibrossis, Special Needs Classes in Four Local Schools, Dementia Unit, Mental Health Unit. Each year different local charities are chosen to be the recipients of the proceeds of the Swap Meet.
All catering on the ground is offered to other charities and community groups such as Vietnam Vets, Sunrise Rotary, Gregado Bush Fire Brigade, Tolland Junior Soccer Club, Lions Club and many more. All the profits from the catering goes to the respective organisations. Sites for these food stalls are donated to each organisation.

Q. How do I book a site? A. All bookings are made through the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre. Email boxoffice@civictheatre.com.au or call 02 6926 9688.
Q. How much are sites? A.
Q. What does my site fee include? A. Entry for two people plus parking for one vehicle/trailer (if it fits within your site).
Q. Do current stallholders get first choice next year? A. Yes. Current stallholders receive first option to renew their site for the following year.
Q. When can I set up my stall? A.
Q. When does the public enter? A. Public entry is 7:00am–3:00pm Sunday 19 July.
Q. When do I need to trade until? A. Stallholders are expected to trade until 2:00pm Sunday.
Q. When can I pack up? A. Pack-up is permitted after 2:00pm Sunday for safety reasons.
Q. Will there be ATM's available? A. Yes!
Q. Do I need public liability insurance? A. Yes. All stallholders must have their own public liability insurance and show a certificate of currency at the gate.
Q. Why isn’t insurance included in the site fee? A. Many stallholders already have their own cover, and separating insurance reduces admin and allows you to choose your provider.

Q. Do I need insurance for every day my stall is on-site? A. Yes. If you set up Friday, you must be insured for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Q. Where do I enter and exit the grounds? A.
Q. Do I need to display a vehicle pass? A. Yes. It must be visible in the bottom driver-side corner of your windscreen.
Q. Can I park on other people’s sites? A. No. Vehicles must stay within your own site boundaries. Extra parking is available inside the trotting track.
Q. Can I move my vehicle during the event? A. No vehicle movement is allowed during public hours (7am–3pm Sunday).
Q. Can I camp at my site? A. Outdoor stallholders may camp at their site. Camping is not allowed inside halls. Camping is available on site for Friday & Saturday nights ONLY. Any additional camping can be organised through the Wagga Wagga Show Ground by booking here
Q. Can I have a fire? A. Yes, but only with untreated wood. Fires must not affect neighbouring sites, and noise must be kept low at night. No hot coals in bins.
Q. Is power available? A. Limited power is available. Catering sites have priority.
Q. Can I use a generator? A. Yes, between 7:00am and 10:00pm only.
Q. Do I need to bring my own equipment? A. Yes. Stallholders must supply their own tables, shade, and tagged electrical leads.
Q. What can I sell? A. Tools, car parts, collectables, antiques, and general goods. Prohibited items include illegal goods, weapons, hazardous materials, and unapproved food/drink.
Q. Do I need to remove unsold items? A. Yes. All unsold items and rubbish must be removed. Dumping may result in site loss and cleanup fees.
Q. What behaviour is expected? A. Excessive alcohol use, unruly behaviour, and aggression will result in eviction. NSW alcohol laws apply throughout the grounds.
Q. Is security provided? A. Yes. Security is on duty Friday and Saturday nights.

Q. What do I do in an emergency? A. Call 000 and follow instructions from CHACA officials. Evacuation areas are marked on the site map.
