These classes provide an opportunity for young dancers to be taught a ballet class by artistic staff from The Australian Ballet.

These classes provide students with a rare privilege and have the increased prestige of occurring on the same stage on which The Australian Ballet also performs.

Target Audience: Local dance students aged 13-18 (min. intermediate/grade 6 ballet experience)

Other information:

  • Please check your booking and email correspondence for arrival time and meeting point
  • Participants are asked to arrive ready for class as there are limited change room facilities in the venue
  • Photography is not permitted inside the theatres, studios or workshops
  • Parents, guardians and teachers are not permitted to attend classes and workshops. Parents and guardians are asked to meet their children promptly at the conclusion of classes and workshops.

Every possible effort is made to deliver classes workshops and events as advertised. However the schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice. All purchases are final, tickets are non-transferable. Bookings for The Australian Ballet’s Engagement Programs cannot be refunded unless the event is cancelled. The Australian Ballet has the right to refuse entry. Event participants will be fully supervised during classes and workshops. The Australian Ballet is not responsible for your belongings.
