Join the National Malleefowl Recovery Group for a special screening of Malleefowl – The most unlikely of birds, a new documentary celebrating this remarkable bird and the dedicated community working to save it.

Produced in partnership with Remember The Wild, this documentaryfollows scientists, conservationists and volunteers as they work to better understand, protect, and reconnect malleefowl populations across fragmented landscapes. Through beautiful cinematography and intimate storytelling, the film offers a rare glimpse into the secretive world of this iconic bird and the people committed to its survival.

Following the 50-minute screening, audience members will have the opportunity to hear directly from leading malleefowl experts during a live panel discussion and audience Q&A. Learn about the challenges facing the species, recent conservation successes, and how communities across Australia are helping secure a future for malleefowl.
