Big things are happening at the Riverina Playhouse. Now under the management of Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre, we’ve got big plans for this much-loved intimate venue — and we’re just getting started.
We’re bringing the Playhouse to life with a bigger, more active program of live entertainment, with a particular focus on live music, local artists and exciting new opportunities for performers. From emerging Riverina musicians to well-known Australian acts, the Playhouse will become a place to discover great live music in Wagga Wagga, in a venue where audiences can get closer to the action.
The Playhouse is the perfect size for live music. It’s intimate, atmospheric and built for the kind of gigs where the audience and performers feel like they’re part of the same room. Our vision is to activate the venue like it’s never been activated before, creating a regular program of live gigs, concerts and entertainment for audiences of all kinds.
Expect local talent, touring artists, fresh ideas, genre-spanning performances and plenty of reasons to get out and see live music in Wagga Wagga. We want the Playhouse to become a place where something is always happening — and where audiences know they can come back again and again to see what’s next.
